Beat Anxiety Amidst Coronavirus Crisis Through Social Support.

The longer we are in self isolation the smaller our world starts to shrink.  Living day-in and day-out without knowing when and how the Corona Virus crisis will end.  It is not surprising that feelings of anxiety, panic, worry, loneliness and depression becomes our primary response. However, what is not normal is the frequency of these feelings that we are all experiencing on a daily basis. In addition to these stressors, there is limited access to daily physical movements  and sensory stimulation like touch, laughter and many who are living alone, the presence of another human being.

To address these issue Arise Bangkok Counseling (ABC) is offering a discounted rate of up to 60% for counseling services during the COVID - 19 pandemic.  In another good news intern - student counselors from Graduate School of Human Science's, Faculty of Counseling Psychology, Assumption University joins us to provide support to the public as part of their internship program free of charge. We are offering two options to help support the community:

Option 1:   Experienced Counseling Psychologist

Online counseling session with a Counseling Psychologist with 1000++ clinical hours 

Rate - 800 baht per 45  minutes.

                       

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the number of donations and sponsors made to many children's foundation has reduces significantly, however  the expenses for the food remains the same. Therefore, 15% percent of all proceeds will go towards Baan Unrak Children's Home, Sangkhlaburi for food and medical supplies.

 

Option 2:  Intern - Student Counselor

Online counseling with intern - student counselor from Faculty of Counseling Psychology, Assumption University. The counseling practicum hours are part of the requirement for fulfillment of their graduate degree.

Rate - free-of-charge (45 mins - 60 mins per session).

 

Currently we have 3 intern - student counselors. However, there are more intern counselors ready to step in anytime.

Terms & Conditions

1. Clients requesting counseling from intern counselors must note that students receive supervision for your session from Professors of Graduate school of Human Science, Faculty of Counseling Psychology, Assumption University. Students counselors are not under supervision of senior staff at ABC.

2. After the counseling slot has been confirmed, client will sign a digital consent form before the online meeting with our counselors.

3. We reserve the rights to discontinue the counseling services when clients require a specific needs that is outside our counseling skills.
